BARC Week 47: Star Plus AajTak continues to lead; Naagin bagged second spot

Sister channels Sony Entertainment, Sony Sab and Sony Pal with 396968, 372333 and 315559 GVTs, respectively. Rishtey stood at tenth position with 284013 GVTs.
Top shows
Star Plus’ Saath Nibhaana Saathiya topped the chart once again with 17057 GVTs. Colors ‘Naagin claimed the second spot with 16718 GVTs. Zee TV’s Kum kuma Bhagya and Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein slipped to third and fourth position with 14026 and 13385 GVTs, respectively. Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka occupied fifth spot with 12793 GVTs.
News channels
With 77966 GVTs, AajTak continued to lead, followed by India TV with 60871 GVTs. ABP News returned to third spot with 54566 GVTs.
Zee News slipped to fourth position with 50756 GVTs and News Nation remained at fifth position with 49680 GVTs. CNBC Awaaz and Zee Business occupied 1222 and 1058 GVTs, respectively.
Movies
Sony Max maintained its lead position with 473920 GVTs. Zee Cinema stood strong at second position with 440066 GVTs, followed by Star Gold with 338223 GVTs.
Movies OK and &pictures occupied with 282139 and 177688 GVTs, respectively.
Sports
Ten Sports led the chart once again with 157349 GVTs. Sister channels Star Sports3 and Star Sports1 occupied second and third position with 95786 and 79648 GVTs, respectively.
Ten Cricket stood at fourth position with 32235 GVTs and Star Sports2 remained at fifth spot with 19426 GVTs.
Music
With 126284 GVTs, Mastiii continued to lead, followed by B4U Music and 9XM with 95334 and 89102 GVTs, respectively.
9X Jalwa occupied fourth position with 41959 GVTs and Sony Mix was at fifth spot with 37490 GVTs.
Kids
Nick stood strong at the top spot with 96708 GVTs, followed by Pogo and Cartoon Network with 78259 and 67752 GVTs, respectively.
Hungama and Disney Channel remained at fourth and fifth spot with 56530 and 39216 GVTs, respectively.

Zing retained its top spot 13599 GVTs, while last week’s topper MTV remained at second spot with 12276 GVTs. Bindass occupied third position with 9578 GVTs, followed by Zoom and Channel V with 7021 and 4975 GVTs, respectively.

Discovery Channel topped the chart once again with 5248 GVTs, while History TV18 climbed to second position with 4026 GVTs. National Geographic Channel slipped to third position with 3541 GVTs.
Animal Planet and Nat Geo Wild occupied fourth and fifth spot with 3259 and 1165 GVTs, respectively.

BARC Week 47 English Genre: Comedy Central claims the throne; India Today TV climbs to third spot

Toppers Times Now and NDTV 24×7 retained their respective positions with 459 and 281 GVTs. India Today TV climbed to third spot with 233 GVTs, while CNN IBN slipped to fourth position with 224 GVTs. BBC World News remained at fifth spot with 175 GVTs.

ET Now led the chart once again with 264 GVTs. CNBC TV18 remained at second spot with 257GVTs.
NDTV Profit & NDTV Prime occupied third position with 83GVTs and Bloomberg TV stood at fourth position with 21GVTs.
Movies
Movies Now maintained its lead position with 3819 GVTs. Star Movies climbed to second spot with 2078 GVTs. Sony Pix occupied third spot with 1746 GVTs, followed by HBO and Zee Studio with 1658 and 1523 GVTs, respectively.

BARC Week 47 Regional Mapping: Big Magic Ganga claims the throne

Zee Marathi led the chart once again with 135135 GVTs. Zee Talkies climbed to second spot with 78068 GVTs, while Colors Marathi slipped to third position with 74119 GVTs.
Star Parvah and Maiboli remained at fourth and fifth position with 46622 and 25376 GVTs, respectively.
Bangla
With 242685 GVTs, Star Jalsha maintained its lead followed by Zee Bangla and Jalsha Movies with 146595 and 77285 GVTs, respectively.
Colors Bangla climbed to fourth position with 32631 GVTs, while Aakaash Aath slipped to fifth spot with 28940 GVTs.
Bhojpuri
Big Magic Ganga claimed the throne with 27161 GVTs, while last week’s topped Bhojpuri Cinema slipped to second position with 26337 GVTs.
Dangal TV climbed to third spot with 18389 GVTs and Dabangg slipped to fourth position with 7552 GVTs. ETV Bihar Jharkhand occupied fifth position with 6112 GVTs.
Oriya
Sarthak TV maintained its lead position with 102098 GVTs. Tarang TV and Colors Oriya remained at second and third spot with 58574 and 18401 GVTs, respectively.
Odisha TV occupied fourth spot with 14457GVTs, followed by Prathana with 10916 GVTs.
Telugu
ETV Telugu stood strong at the top spot with 420540 GVTs, while Maa TV climbed to second spot with 339635 GVTs. Zee Telugu slipped to third position with 316525 GVTs.
Sister channels Gemini TV and Gemini Movies stood at fourth and fifth spot with 255741 and 204654 GVTs, respectively.

With 1101262GVTs, Sun TV stood strong at the top spot, followed by KTV and Star Vijay with 333275 and 178405GVTs, respectively.
Polimer remained at fourth position with 103855 GVTs; while Kalaignar TV climbed to fifth spot with 90372 GVTs.

Colors Kannada topped the chart once again with 298178 GVTs, followed by Udaya Movies with 152747 GVTs.
Survana remained at third spot with 152145 GVTs; while Zee Kannada stood at fourth position with 140691 GVTs. Udaya TV occupied fifth spot with 123878GVTs.
Malayalam
Asianet continued to lead with 373291 GVTs, followed by Mazhavil Manorama with 102209 GVTs. Flowers TV climbed to third position with 73428 GVTs.
Surya TV slipped to fourth spot with 61935 GVTs and Asianet Movies remained at fifth position with 58162 GVTs.

Big Magic Ganga Announces Mele Ka Big Star – Season 7

With 381 GVTs, Colors claimed the throne, while topper Star Plus slipped to second position with 371 GVTs. Sony Sab climbed to third spot with 236 GVTs and Zee TV slipped to fourth position with 229 GVTs.
Life OK and Sony Entertainment remained at fifth and sixth position with 199 and 192 GVTs, respectively. At seventh spot was &TV with 115 GVTs and Zee Anmol stood with 56 GVTs, followed by Sony Pal and Star Utsav with 53 and 43 GVTs, respectively.
English entertainment
FX led the chart once again with 5 GVTs, while AXN remained at second position with 3 GVTs and Star World stood at third spot with 2 GVTs.
Hindi movies
Sony Max maintained its lead with 171 GVTs. Zee Cinema stood at second position with 142 GVTs, followed by Star Gold with 136 GVTs.
English movies
Star Movies claimed the throne with 11 GVTs, while Movies Now slipped to second position with 9 GVTs, followed by HBO with 8 GVTs.
Hindi news
AajTak stood strong at the lead spot with 40 GVTs. Zee News remained at second position with 321 GVTs, followed by India TV with 31 GVTs.
English News
All players Times Now, CNN IBN and NDTV 24×7 had a tie with 2 GVTs each.

Mastiii returned to top spot with 33 GVTs, while 9XM slipped to second position with 32 GVTs. Sony Mix was at third spot with GVTs.

Discovery Channel topped the chart once again with 29 GVTs, followed by National Geographic Channel and History TV18 with 22 and 17 GVTs, respectively.
