TAM Week 46: Star Movies & Ten Sports claims the throne; MTV & 9XM locks horn in music genre

Sony Sab climbed to fourth position with 201 GVTs, while Life OK slipped to fifth position with 195 GVTs. Sony Entertainment stood strong at sixth spot with 172 GVTs.
Seventh and eighth occupied by &TV and Zee Anmol with 102 and 48 GVTs, respectively. Sony Pal stood with 46 GVTs and Rishtey occupied 41 GVTs.
English entertainment
With 5 GVTs, FX stood strong at lead position followed by AXN and Star World with 3 and 2 GVTs, respectively.
Hindi movies
Sony Max led the chart once again with 222 GVTs. Star Gold climbed to second position with 202 GVTs, while Zee Cinema slipped at third spot with 157 GVTs.
English movies
With 13 GVTs, Star Movies claimed the throne; while Movies Now slipped to second spot with 11 GVTs. HBO remained at third position with 10 GVTs.
Hindi news
AajTak stood strong at top spot with 47 GVTs. ABP News climbed to second position with 37 GVTs and Zee New surpassed India TV by occupying third position with 35 GVTs.
English News
Times Now continued to lead with 3 GVTs, followed by CNN IBN and NDTV 24×7 with 2 GVTs each.
Music
MTV and 9XM both had a tie by occupying 33 GVTs each, while last week’s topper Mastiii slipped to third spot with 32 GVTs.
Infotainment
Discovery Channel led the chart once again. National Geographic Channel remained at second position with 24 GVTs, followed by Animal Planet with 17 GVTs.
Sports
Ten Sports claimed the throne with 38 GVTs. Sister channels Star Sports 3 and Star Sports 1 occupied second and third spot with 29 and 24 GVTs, respectively.
Kids
With 136 GVTs, NIck maintained its lead position with 136 GVTs. Pogo remained at second position with 121 GVTs. Cartoon Network climbed to third spot with 100 GVTs.
