Ad Pick of the Week: Reebok’s Be More Human is Parth’s favourite

Conceptualised by McCann Erickson India, this #FitToFight video campaign features Ranaut in a never seen fitness freak avatar. This video was an instant hit and received praises from all over. Meanwhile Ranaut won her third National Award, which further boosted the popularity of this campaign and apart from this a video from the sets also went viral where Ranaut seen arguing with one of the creative members.
This Reebok’s Be More Human campaign is the favourite of Parth Sharma, Co-Founder, Little Star Creatives, and here he is sharing his thoughts about this ad film exclusively with IndianMediaBook.
Which ad film grabbed your attention in past few days and why?
This year the ad film which grabbed my attention is Reebok’s Be More Human campaign. The debut of this international campaign in the Indian market is perfect and Kangana did full justice to her part. It is inspiring, motivational and has the potential to convince people to Be More Human.
If given a chance, what changes would you like to make?
The video is well executed and no changes are required.
Did the advertisement make you want to buy the product?
Like I mentioned above, this campaign has potential to change the mind-set of the people.
Humour and Emotions, what works most in India?
I think both do; as Indian’s we’re quite filmy and emotional, drama is imperative and it connects with viewers.
What three things should keep in mind while making an ad?
According to me, the ad should be convincing enough to persuade the consumer to buy the product. Secondly, it should be creative and thirdly, impactful.
Please give your last word for this ad and rate the ad out of 10.
I would like to give it 9/10 for this inspirational and motivational video.
