Finally after the six episodes of auditions and final selection, the youth-based reality television show MTV RoadiesX4 is all set to telecast its journey from 2nd April. After showcasing the beauty of Nepal, this year, the show will take viewers to Bhutan.
Last year, Raghu Ram and Rajiv Laxman,
the creators of Roadies have left the show. Thus, team Roadies introduced
a new format, where contestant completed their journey in four gangs,
led by Ranvijay Singh, Esha Deol, Karan Kundra and Boxer Vijender Singh.
The thirteenth season of Roadies is
titled as MTV RoadiesX4, because this year gangs and gang leaders will
be seen blazing trails in Renault Duster SUVs, instead of bikes. This
year, Neha Dhupiahas been roped in as female judge in place of Deol,
while Freestyle Wrestler Sushil Kumar replaced Vijender. However, MTV
RoadiesX2 winner Prince Narula will be seen leading the Sushil’s gang
during the journey.
Apart from this, MTV RoadiesX2 host VJ
Bani is replaced by VJ Gaelyn Mendonca, who has joined the team
RaodiesX4. Meanwhile, Viacom18 has launched its own OTT platform Voot
and thus, the entire content library to be digitally available only on
Voot, instead of YouTube.
After the grand finale of Splitsvilla
Season 8, MTV had a tough time. Its TRP went down and it’s slipped from
top spot to second position. MTV RoadiesX4 came as the saviour and it
successfully managed to claim the throne once again. Show will be
telecast every Saturday at 7PM on MTV.
